Gel hybrid is what we'd recommend to anyone who runs warm at night, has tried memory foam and found it claustrophobic, or sleeps next to a partner who heats up the bed. The gel-infused foam comfort layer draws heat away from the body and disperses it, so the surface stays cool through the night rather than warming up the way regular foam does. Under that comfort layer is a base of 2,150 individually pocketed springs that hold the body level whatever position you sleep in.
This is the tier we'd suggest to anyone who doesn't already know they want a soft or firm bed. Back sleepers, front sleepers, mixed-position sleepers, couples with different preferences. Medium is medium because it works for most people.
If you're choosing across the three Gel Hybrid tiers, this is the call. Kensington is the soft, cushioned start. Belgravia is the medium, the most universal choice. Westbourne is the firm, the heaviest support layer. Same cool-sleeping gel character throughout, three different tensions.
