The softest of our three Pillow Top mattresses. A deep cushioned top layer sewn over a serious spring base, the build that turns a good mattress into a great one.
Pillow top construction is what gives the bed a hotel feel. Instead of just a comfort layer pressed into the cover, there's an extra deep cushioned top layer stitched on top, creating a soft, slightly raised surface that sinks gently when you lie down. Underneath is the actual support structure, 2,406 individually pocketed springs that hold the body level whatever position you sleep in.
The result is two distinct sensations. The surface feels cushioned and forgiving, the way a freshly made hotel bed feels when you climb in. Underneath, the springs hold you. Most foam, latex and memory mattresses give you one or the other. Pillow top gives you both.
This is the entry into the Pillow Top range. Side sleepers, lighter frames, anyone who's stayed in a five star hotel and wished their own bed felt that way. The right call if you find foam too dense, memory too warm, and natural too firm.
If you're choosing across the three Pillow Top tiers, this is the call. Mayfair is the soft, deepest cushion. Montague is the medium, more support without losing the cushioned top. Wexford is the firm, the heaviest support layer. Same pillow top character throughout, three different tensions.
