The Story
A long, plain, upholstered storage box. The quieter sibling to the Albury.
The Bourg sits low and flat to the floor, fully upholstered on every side, with a clean unbuttoned lid that lifts on gas-assisted hinges to reveal proper full-length storage inside. No piping, no buttoning, no studs. Just a soft rectangular shape that doesn't compete with the bed.
If you've been looking at the Albury and want the same idea without the buttoning, the Bourg is it. Same hand-upholstery, same workshop, just a cleaner, calmer surface.
It works at the foot of the bed for blankets, spare bedding and seasonal clothes. It works in a hallway as a bench. It works at the end of a sofa, under a window, anywhere a long low piece can sit without making the room feel busier.
Hand-upholstered in Britain by the same makers who build our beds. Solid timber frame inside, fully upholstered on the outside.
If you'd rather feel the fabric before you commit, send for swatches first.
