A bed dressed in linen, not upholstered into it. The Madison, the only frame in the range you can wash.
The Madison is the most unusual bed we make. Instead of a fixed upholstered headboard, the design uses two large standalone pillow cushions that stand against the wall behind the mattress, soft and tactile, with no rigid frame inside. Instead of a fixed upholstered base, the divan base wears a loose fabric cover that drops to the floor in soft pleated folds. Both the cushions and the cover are removable, washable, and replaceable.
This changes what owning an upholstered bed means. Most upholstered beds commit you to a colour for the life of the frame. The Madison doesn't. Order it in oat linen for summer, slip it into a darker velvet cover for winter, refresh the look in five years without replacing the bed. Wash a cover that's been lived with rather than living with marks.
It also means it suits homes with children, dogs, or anyone who actually uses their bedroom. Tea spills, paw prints, sun fade, all addressable.
The shape is country house relaxed. Stone walls, wooden beams, period cottages, barn conversions, anywhere the bed should look lived-in rather than freshly upholstered. The image shows an oat linen, but the same dressed silhouette carries deeper tones beautifully.
Choose your base. Non storage for the simplest configuration, or manual or electric ottoman for everyday lift-up storage underneath. The Madison isn't available as an adjustable platform, the loose cover construction doesn't translate to a moving base.
