The Cambridgeshire headboard is built from two soft padded cushion panels sitting side by side, each one finished with a defined Oxford seam tracing the edge. The seam is the detail that lifts it. Sharper than a plain pillow-back, more architectural than a soft cushion, modern enough to sit in a contemporary room without looking dated.
If you're choosing between Cambridgeshire and Double Cushion, the seam is the difference. Double Cushion has the same twin-cushion shape without the Oxford edge, so it reads softer and less defined. Cambridgeshire has the seam and the cleaner line.
If you're choosing between Cambridgeshire and Oxy, the build is the difference. Oxy is the simpler, more streamlined version. Cambridgeshire is engineered for serious use. Solid hardwood frame, slats only 3cm apart, 15 year frame guarantee, fully customisable across sizes, bases, and over 100 fabrics. The Cambridgeshire is what you order when you want the same shape but built to last.
The footboard is low and rolled, the side rails clean, the legs short and dark. On the non storage base, the legs lift the bed off the floor. Choose ottoman or adjustable instead and the legs are removed, the base sits flush, and the full footprint becomes deep storage underneath.
