The Layla is the most ornate silhouette in the range. The headboard rises into a tall central peak flanked by smaller scrolled shoulders, the top edge curving in a serpentine line that reads as continental rather than English. No buttoning, no channelling, no studs. The drama is entirely in the shape, not the surface, which lets a deep saturated fabric do the work.
This is a bedroom centrepiece. Boutique hotel suites, French chateau-style rooms, Mediterranean villas, anywhere a heritage English silhouette would feel too restrained. The Layla is for the customer who wants a bed with romance built into the silhouette.
The base is finished on slim turned light wood legs when ordered as a non storage frame. Choose ottoman or adjustable instead and the legs are removed, the base sits flush to the floor, and the full footprint becomes deep storage underneath.
It rewards a deep colour. The image shows Medici Burnt Sienna, but the same silhouette carries imperial purple, oxblood, racing green, midnight navy, antique cream linen for a softer chateau read.
Crafted not assembled. Handmade to order in our British workshop by the same craftspeople who have supplied Britain's leading bed retailers for over two decades. Solid hardwood frame. FSC-certified timbers. The serpentine top edge is hand-cut and hand-stitched by the same upholsterers who work on every bed we make. Slats 3cm apart, rated for our heaviest natural-fill mattresses. SATRA-certified ottoman lift tested to 250kg, OKIN motors on the powered variant. 15 year frame guarantee. White glove delivery and assembly anywhere in mainland UK.
