The headboard is shaped with a gently curved top edge that scoops down toward the centre and rises at the corners, framed by a soft cushioned border that wraps around a deep diamond-buttoned panel inside. The buttoning is set into a tightly stuffed cushion area, the border around it is plump and plain, and the contrast between the two is what gives this bed its signature look. The footboard is low and rolled, the legs slim, tapered and tipped in a pale metallic finish.
This is the bed that punches above its price. Most beds at this point in the range hit one note. The Cushion Top hits two. It has the buttoned formality of a heritage piece and the soft framing of a modern cushion bed, in a single silhouette. It works in a panelled period room and in a clean contemporary one.
Choose your base. Non storage on slim tapered legs, manual ottoman for everyday lift-up storage, electric ottoman for touch-of-a-button access, or full adjustable platform. On ottoman and adjustable bases, the legs are removed and the base sits flush to the floor for maximum storage.
